A while ago I was passing a group of little children and I heard them talk together. One of the little girls said:"I will not be your friend anymore." Surely you have heard them talk like this. Children can be really tough with each other.
But not only children can be tough! If you have ever made the experience to be left from somebody, maybe somebody you loved, then you know how hurtful this experience can be.
The Lord is not like this though! He says that he will never leave you nor forsake you.
And in Romans 8,38 he promises:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor [zoe] life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor [dynamic] powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [agape] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(GMRV)
There is nothing that can separate you from his love. There is not one thing that will take you out of his hand. He is always here for you and his love will never cease. You can count on this love every day of your life.
I want to encourage you today to just rest in this love. Picture yourself how you are save in his hand and let the peace come into your heart afresh and fill you with it. Just let his love flow and touch you right now!
