Warfare, fighting in the spirit and standing against the enemy those are big topics these days. Many people are looking for new ways of standing in the battle against Satan. I can't blame them, especially when I look at the condition of the church today, and I see all the areas where believers are suppressed and the enemy seems to reign freely over them. It cannot go on like that!
But how can you stand against the forces of darkness, and how can you win the battle?
If you expect now a long doctrine of ten pages that has never been heard before, you will be disappointed. The answer is quite simple, but at the same time it is challenging!
Use the Word and have faith in it.
Sheesh, I have heard that before and it never worked for me!
Well, let me explain HOW to use the word and how to activate your faith. You will see a difference in your warfare and in your spiritual life soon.
Firstly: Build up your faith
If you are battling with attacks on your conscience you are feeling under condemnation all the time - look up a couple of Scriptures about that and see what the Word says. In this example, one Scripture comes to my mind immediately:
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Now, take that Scripture and start uttering it, start mumbling it, start speaking it out. Hey, if you like you can even start screaming it out as loud as you want to! But the point is start SPEAKING it, so that YOU can hear it yourself. This is because the Scriptures tell us that faith comes from hearing (Rom 10:17), and you need to hear the truth until you believe it more than the lies of the enemy.
Take time to speak out this Scripture and to speak in tongues by yourself. Speak the word of truth out over you, declare it and confess it. This will build up your faith and prepare you for the battle.
Secondly: Counteract every lie of Satan with the truth of the Scripture.
Now, the more you feed the Word into you, the more you will be aware of the lies of the enemy. But you are not helpless and defeated anymore. Now you have a powerful sword in your hand ready for battle!
Once you have built these words of truth into you, nobody will be able to come and to tell you otherwise. When you are in intercession, you will have the right word at the right time. And Satan will be trembling, because he knows that you believe in what you are saying and you can speak the word with authority!
So go soldier! Prepare yourself for battle - and then fight the good fight!
